Students from the age of seven are given the
option of taking a Trinity College London examination at the end of
the school year, which is based on their level of English. An International
Diploma is awarded to candidates who pass.
TRINITY COLLEGE EXAMINATIONS
Trinity College London has designed
a world-renowned series of graded examinations to assess the ability
of students to communicate effectively with other speakers of English.
It is based in 52 countries and examines around 150,000 students
every year.
Examinations consist of a conversation
with a representative of the College. They are divided into four
stages: Initial, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. Each stage
consists of three progressive grades. Guidelines are provided by
Trinity College to help teachers choose the relevant grade for their
students.
The examiner comes to our centre
from Great Britain and talks with each candidate about topics chosen
by the candidate. The examiner assesses the candidate’s level of
English based on this conversation.
