INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL SUMMER PROGRAMMES ELS Language Centres Summer Programmes offer students an ideal combination of excellent English language tuition and a varied schedule of excursions, social and sport activities. Classes take place between 8.50 am and 1.00 pm, Mondays to Saturdays, excluding Thursdays, when students are taken on full-day excursions to such places of interest as London, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge or Stratford-upon-Avon. At the start of the course, students take a placement test to assess their level of English and receive carefully chosen course books supplemented with a wide variety of other material. In addition, there is a daily programme of sports activities and social events which take place in the afternoons and evenings. These include swimming, tennis, football, volleyball, video, barbecues, discos and karaoke. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation is on college campus in either single or double rooms.
